Fallen law officers were honored in a ceremony in Deer Lodge Friday. A small group of people, including law officers from the state prison and the Powell County Sheriff's Department honored three officers who lost their lives in the line of duty in the past 12 months.

A man has been sentenced in Deer Lodge for criminal distribution of dangerous drugs.

A 19-year-old man was sentenced for rape in Deer Lodge Court. Charles Baker of Deer Lodge was sentenced to 10 years to the Department of Corrections with five years suspended for sexual intercourse without consent involving a 13-year-old girl, according to Powell County Attorney Lewis Smith.
